In 2010 Murphy started work on his ultimate ballast system with the following goals:
1 Super fast fill – empty time (about 5 seconds)
2 Fill – empty while on plane (1,000+ pounds)
3 No Pumps
The system effectively allows the boat to start without ballast.
>Saves gas
>Less wear and tear on boat.
>Smaller engine required (less expense)
This system is currently in development and is being actively pitched for licensing / sale.
